Idk about his career being done.

That was a horrible style matchup.

I still think Corrales can hang in with some of the top 10 guys in welterweight, but they really have to be hand picked styles.

He has some fight left in him, and hes not at the point where he MUST retire. If he wants to keep going, i dont think anyone should tell him he cant. at least not yet.

Corrales has a heart of a lion. Clottey was just way to much for him tonight. Azuma would be proud of both of them. Nothing asked for, for nothing givin... SPARTAAA!!!

He's too slow to fight the big guys. He needs to drop down in weight where his strength at his heighth will give him an advantage. And he needs to box, but he can't seem to resist brawling. Realistically, he should quit, but as long as people keep laying money on the table, nobody in his position would refuse. He's got a lot of guts, even if he spits out his mouthpiece....

Yeah I know, I didn't mean to make it seem like I was trying to make you look dumb. Its just that its sad to imagine him still trying to fight after this cause the guy has kids, and I see him only taking more damage if he continues.

                I'm not sure man.

He doesn't have the power to compete at 147. If you noticed.....Chico likes to cover up and take a couple, when someone is reaching he busts them with a right hand or hook. Normally that hurts someone, and that's what I thought I would hang my bet on in this fight.

It had no effect on Clottey, and Chico also wasted body punches on a guy that runs 12 miles a day. That was pointless.

He can't move back down as he stated because it would just ruin his body if it isn't already, and he's absorbed a tremendous amount of punishment. Let's even see if he's actually not really hurt within the next two days. He was talking like his jaw was broken and I think the nose might have been as well.

I thought he would have accumulated enough money over the years so he could easily provide for himself and his family.
man, how nieve. the guy has child support, court costs, spousal support and the horrendous cost of his crew who helps and supports him during the months off. a lot of mouths to feed.

well we dont know if the power is there or not. the question wasnt really answered.

I thought he landed a short left in the 6th or 7th round that really stunned Clottey for a moment, but corrales clinched cause he was buzzed himself.

And he almost NEVER was able to land a hook flush. Maybe 2 or 3 times max. And he NEVER dedicated himself to a single punch until it was desperation time.

Im not saying he should go for the title, but we are talking about a guy that LOVES to fight and if he wants to go on and fight a hand-picked style, i dont think anybody should stop him. thats all im saying

The only big fight I can see for Corrales at welter is Arturo Gatti. They can beat eachother's brains in for their final big payday.
