Kessler shouldn't have a lot at stake really, in an ideal boxing world.
he's the number 1 contender to the 168 champion Joe Blow. It's the 168 title he wants surely, to elevate him beyond Euro-robot beltholder?Comment

Well said,Are you suggesting Andrade was a tougher opponent that Manfredo Jr???
Are you suggesting Andrade is tougher than Bika???
Are you Suggesting Calzaghe needs the MEDIA to prove he is the better man???
HE is THE BETTER MAN UNTIL proven otherwise.. Calzaghe does NOT need Kessler..Kessler needs Calzaghe..
. Who is Andrade? Im not A big Calzaghe fan, But He would beat Kessler right now very easily..Bika and Manfedo would could beat Andrade. Some other ass posted that Kessler is red hot in the U.S.
Why because he's A preatty boy???? One ****ing fight against A mexican cab driver does not make him red hot....Does It??

Frank Warren is the biggest bull ****ter in the boxing business. We need to see some confirmation of an offer actually being made first of all. Something besides the BS out of Warren's mouth.
Only then can we start considering details of this supposed offer.
How manny here believe Warren will be willing/able to reveal ANY detail about the offer?
If he does he sets himself up for having his bluff called in a bad way. Or more likely it'll be revealed exactly how cheap Warren is prepared to go.Comment

Not really a turn down, more of a issue with negotiation. After Calzaghe's third-round stoppage of Peter Manfredo, Jr., he expressed his desire to unify his WBO/The Ring magazine titles with WBC/WBA champion Mikkel Kessler (39-0, 29 KOs), from Copenhagen, Denmark, as his next fight this summer or travel to the U.S. to take on Jermain Taylor.
