Do you think he remains P4P top 5 after the last two opponents?

Kessler want a better deal to fight in Calzaghe's backyard, after tonight who could blame him?

Keep the date in mind. Kessler was in a hard 12 rounder with Andrade, and Calzaghe never got in a real fight tonight.

I can't blame Kessler if he wants more money to fight another date.

Calzaghe himself doesn't usually fight so frequent, this sounds a bit like a media stunt offer to make Calzaghe look better.

Of course he is. Only a fool woudl think that he wasn't. Hell, RJJ stayed P4P #1 with an opponent list that made Manfredo and Bika look ATGs.

He's got two years left. He wants at least 4 fights. He's just come off a light training session against some yank. I think 3 months is about par for the course.

If Warren offered a multi-million dollar purse plus extras to Kessler then he'd be a fool to turn it down. Even if he loses it's no disgrace and he has a chance to face the #1 SMW of the last decade. I'm really puzzled asto why they're turning it down unless ....

It'll either be Taylor or Kessler. It seems that unless the latter gets real it'll be Taylor. Fine by me - it'd be a better fight and a bigger name for Calzaghe's resume. I'm surprised he wasn't their first choice.

We really need to know what "multi" stands for before judging team Palle, don't we? The extras is worth ****, and so is location and date if your name is Mikkel Kessler.

Are you suggesting Andrade was a tougher opponent that Manfredo Jr???
Are you suggesting Andrade is tougher than Bika???

Are you Suggesting Calzaghe needs the MEDIA to prove he is the better man???
HE is THE BETTER MAN UNTIL proven otherwise.. Calzaghe does NOT need Kessler..Kessler needs Calzaghe..

            Yes and yes. Much better.

Well, Calzaghe needs someone, it doesnt need to be Kessler, he preferes Hopkins and Taylor, but HBO seems eager to make the Kessler fight happen.
And yes, even if Calzaghe doesnt need it, Warren like so many others, use media to their advantage if possible.. off cause.

A lot of people do a lot of talking, yet none of them know what they are talking about. Frank Warren floats a bit of gossip and everybody has to get their two cents worth in. Calzaghe got the job done that he needed to do. The biggest fight that can be made at this point is with Kessler, and HBO knows it. It is HBO who is holding all the cards and everybody else involved inb the negociations is just bluffing. If HBO wants the fight it will be made, neither Calzaghe nor Kessler have the name or fame to turn them down without some severe penalties in the future.

Yeah I know he must of hurt his hands all the times he hit Andrade.

I think this is all just negotiating ploy, they want Kessler next.

i don't believe anything that frank warren says, dude is a flat out liar. if that dude told me i was on fire and there were 10 feet of flames coming off the top of my head and there was 10 feet of flames and i was on fire i'd still call him a liar due to his track record. that guy has probably taught king and arum a thing or two on how to swindle.....................

they're just trying to make calzaghe look like he wants to take on the world, when they really want to avoid the real challenges and cash in and make it look like they actually tried to get the best fights available. the only reason the best fights are never available for joe is due to frank warren economics, go out and get a copy.

Kessler should fight him for free, if he does then he'd prove that hes heart and calzaghes not. That he'd beat calzaghe even without getting paid.
