                Calzaghe cannot win people over. The fight was stopped a little too soon but Manfredo was just getting hit without reply. It wasn't like Manfredo was doing anything, he was lucky it was stopped so he wouldn't get beaten like Lacy did.

                    Manfredo should have been throwing back. It was a sucky ****** stoppage. What really sucks is for Joe Blow because he was easily winning the fight and would have likely got a legitimate stoppage later.

                    It's true most of the punches didn't hurt manfredo, but he did get caught with some good shots in that flurry. Particularly I noticed some good body shots landing.

                                bottom line here is this....

                                the fight was in wales.. on HBO.... all the people and more importantly the money was on calzaghe....

                                when a guy is -1000, like calzaghe in this instance... in his hometown... the ref knows its his job to stop the fight when he gets a chance
