I like the idea of this fight.I haven't seen Holyfield since his loss to Larry Donald in a fight that he looked totally shot.It seemed like he couldn't even throw punches.Since coming back he's ko'd a journeyman, beat Fres Oquendo, and ko'd Vinny Maddalone.A ko win over a journeyman isn't a suprise and stopping a tough and exciting clubfighter like Maddalone isn't a shocker but beating Fres Oquendo who I would think is still in his prime if not he's not far removed. Now not seeing this fight I don't know if it was Holyfield not being shot or just Fres not fighting enough but still an impressive win for Holyfield.Savarese who was never an outstanding fighter just a solid Top 20 top fighter who is making a comeback of his own at age 42 I think. It could be a boring fight between two old guys or maybe a fight that could be both good and gauge who should continue on and who should retire.

I like this fight for Holyfield; he's fighting pretty frequently and is gradually stepping up his level of competition. I'd pick Holy to win via late round stoppage or by wide UD.

If Holyfield keeps this work rate up; he'll an earn a well deserved title shot. Look for him to fight for the WBO or WBA titles later this year.
