If Brewster doesn't fight a tune-up, then the IBF shouldn't sanction this bout. It would irresponcible to let a fighter who was beaten pretty badly in his last fight a year ago to fight a champion who's KO'd his last three opponents and who seems to in his career prime.

I could see Brewster getting badly hurt because the guy can take a punch and won't go down as easy as Austin did.

Frankly, I rather see a rematch between Sanders and Klitschko if Sanders looks decent in his next fight against Chris Koval.

I'm not supposed to post the links, but one of several sources is Michael Marley's website "boxing confidential", another is the "pound4pound" website, and another is the "Boxing Talk" website.

A European website, boxnews, has just posted this story, and the July 7 date and Wlad's name has been added to their schedule. They have an English language section and a Ukrainian language section. They say it has been confirmed that Wlad will fight on a HBO televised event July 7 in Germany, and although his opponent is not confirmed yet, it will likely be Lamon Brewster.

I would be a happy camper if they do, but these rumors been circulating for a while in a russian boxing community. But I hope they do fight.

Brewster will kiss the canvas hard in this one and we will never see him fight again.
Wlad is giving a chance to Brewster that Brewster never gave him when Wlad wanted a rematch with Brewster he always had some kind of excuse

.....If Sanders stays unretired and continues to win in impressive fashion, I think Wlad will do just that.

No, I know Wlad is going to beat Brewster and stop him, but its not going to be true revenge. The victory wont be worth much because of the situations it took place in.
