There arent many danish fighters so the Danish are obviously going to mention his name as much as they can because otherwise he would have a hard time to get known worldwide. And especially because he hasnt beaten any really respected boxers, they will obviously want to call out Joe to get a name on Kesslers record.
I have nothing against that. Lets hope the match will come off one day.

Anyone who watched Kessler, regardless of his oppenents, and comes away thinking this guy does not have the goods...well, they are deluding themselves and perhaps need to confront their own bias and standards.

How are you going to **** on Kessler's opponents when Calzaghe has been fighting a similar level of opposition throughout his career? Calzaghe has never faced an elite, P4P fighter in his career...

Most people do tend to acknowledge Kessler as at least top3 in SMW. I think that's pretty much beyond dispute.

Some people back him as #1. Even if they're wrong, and Calzaghe beats him, he can still be #2. Seriously though, is ANYONE dumb enough to claim Kessler isn't AT LEAST a top5 SMW? If you're a top5, then where in top5 you fit in is pretty much academic, and any talk of hype is pure bull.

Edit: Seriously, anybody who says he's not world class, and that he hasn't fought anybody who is world class, what's your definition? Is top10 not world class? I don't get it...
