I gotta go with Finito, man that skinny lanky mother ****er was something special! Cant take away from Sanchez victory over Nelson and Gomez but he died young and Finito accomplished more. In my eyes the best Mex fighter of all times is Finito, then Sanchez and then JCC.

I am gonna say Sanchez on ability alone. Rockabye Ruben Olivares is getting slept on in this thread. For years he was the gold standard all Mexican fighters were judged by. His hook to the body was the best ever.

Chavez is #1, followed by Olivares.

Sanchez was awesome but he died too young. He achieved a lot in his career but not enough to be ranked #1. He should be ranked on what he did, not what he could've done.

why isn't barrera there to vote. we don't have too focus only on old fighters, active fighters like barrera can also be considered among the greatest mexican fighter. he is sure the completest. he can box, he can brawl he can punch

The Prototype for the Mexican Style of Fighting until recently was Ruben Olivares. Chavez was taught his hook to the body at an early age and had a similar style. I would say Morales is more like Sanchez.

Sanchez is different than Morales the closet one similar to his style is Jaun Marquez he is a counter punch that make you pay for you mistake in a far away distance slug fest where you cant really hit him because of his reach
