Man you guys are sleeping on my boy Vicente Saldivar and Carlos Zarate but here are my top 5:

1- Julio Cesar Chavez; won his first 90 fights, 5 world titles in 3 different weight classes! Nuff said

2- Ricardo "Finito" Lopez; Defended his title a record 22 times. Third champion EVER to retire undefeated. Most consecutive title bouts without losing at 26.

3-Carlos Zarate; won 46 out of his 47 first fights by K.O. Hardest hitting bantamweight of all time, out of his 61 wins, 58 were by K.O.

4- Salvador Sanchez; 44-1-1 incredible counter puncher, great chin, beat the best of his time including; Wilfredo Gomez, Azuma Nelson,Juan LaPorte and Ruben Castillo. Died way before his time.

5- Vicente Saldivar; 37-3-26 incredible body puncher, won feather weight title 3 times had 26 K.O's in his 37 wins.

Barerra, Morales, De LaHoya, Carbajal, Pepino Cuevas, Chiquita Hernandez, Canizales, Napoles, Chacon, Ruelas, Jose Luis Castillo and JL Ramirez, ect ect ect. I can go on and on.............. IMO no other country has the tradition that Mexico has in boxing. It is engrained in the culture and as long as there is boxing, there will be great Mexican fighters

              my list goes like this

lopez (boxed and ****** like no one i've ever seen before, jmm x's 4)
sanchez (when you beat nelson, lopez and gomez all before you're 24, you don't come in behind jcc)
chavez (i dunno, maybe the biggest question in the list)
becerra (dude was a killer, and my surrogate dad fought on his undercard)
barrera (theres really just no question about this guy IMO)
morales (i can't put him before barrera)
              olivares
              cuevas
juan manuel marquez (with a couple more wins, and lets think he can go up another division and clear it out, guys a phenom, otherwise he stays in this place)
rafa marquez (a testament to the greatest trainer, forget futch, mayweather, roach and the whole rest of 'um - nacho is numero uno for the last 2 decades)

Zarate-Zamora was one hell of a fight, Carlos Zarate was at worst the second best bantam ever. I forgot about Saldivar completely he was a damn good Southpaw and his two losses to Jofre shouldn't hurt him too badly. Another guy who was around at the wrong time but was a vicious puncher and didn't get a title shot till late in his career is Jesus "Little Poison" Pimental. You should add Yaqui Lopez to that long list and probably tough guys like Rafael Herrara and Chucho Castillo. Napoles was a cuban who fought out of Mexico though. If he was Mexican he would be close to top 5 caliber.

I liked it when the idiot came to the ring and security dragged him out forcefully.

That was Zamoras father if I remember correctly. That fight ruined Zamora for good.

YES GO NACHO! LOL I think u should put morales first then barrera and olivares has to be first then barrera too c'mon pepino cuevas also has too be first then barrera lol and rafael marquez and jmm will be considered better than barrera when they retired cause they still got more to go and in that time that they got left imo i think they will make remarkable acomplishments.
