If I was Mayweather I'd duck Margarito too, the risk aint worth the reward. Besides Oscar is more dangerous of an opponent anyways. I'm glad he ducked Margarito who IMO is still uproven. Oscar is a proven warrior and anyone who disagrees is just a hater, im unbias I like both Oscar and Floyd.

Its at a point in both De La Hoya and Mayweather's careers that this fight needs to happen and it would have been a shame (again IMO) if it was spoiled because of Margarito.

There has also been talks about the winner of Mayweather/De La Hoya to face the winner of Cotto/Judah. Well I guess because Margarito ducked Cotto he's now gonna have to get through Paul Williams to earn the right to fight the winner of the winners fight.

marga's style is the worst for mayweather, and tony's too big and strong. he' have to chase pbf around for the early rounds but when he catches him it won't be pretty

he has no weight issues with 147 so why go up ......evry one that hates tony always bring up the santos fights but guess what he was whooping santoses ass in both fight before they were stop on cuts......i bet Floyd saw those fights and said damn that margarito is a killer that is why he wont fight him plus margarito would probably turn up the kill mode in a fight with mayweather so what ever anyone says we all know he ducked tony...........ducking a fighter aint nothing new...............................he tried to get a fight with winky but the promtions could not come to a deal

Floyd was ducking margarito since he stepped up to 147 that includes fighting sharmba instead of margarito for more than 2 times as much money as he did for sharmba.

The fact that it is so hotly disputed back and forth that he did duck margarito, shows that this fight shoulda been made, its one of those fights people arent gonna stfu about until it happens.

Maybe he would have beat margarito easily, maybe he wouldnt have........ we dont know and we are discussing it now because floyd ducked margarito.

He fought Sharmba Mitchell as a tune-up for the Zab Judah fight. Sharmba Mitchell is a slick counter-punching southpaw, just like... GUESS WHO: Zab Judah.

How would a fight with Margarito, who is stylistically the EXACT OPPOSITE of Judah, be any use for Floyd, who was obviously trying to prepare for that (at the time before Judah lost to Baldomir) mega fight.
