Roy wanted more money?
Roy verbally agreed and then reneged?

      Shocking.

Former pound for pound king Roy Jones Jr will not be fighting on Showtime Championship Boxing on June 9 as originally scheduled. Jones was unavailable for immediate comment, however ********** understands that the bout crumbled because Roy wanted $1M more than the $500,000 offer that was on the table for him to fight Anthony Hanshaw on that date. (3:41 PM EST)
You know showtime probably leaked this statement to make Jones look like ****.

And from what i gather, Showtime PPV'S suck

as Boxing 4 real (2 hillarious guys on you tube) says

On may 5th 2007 Showtime are competing with HBO'S De La Hoya Mayweather with.....

        '2006 a year in review'

Well done showtime, only about 6 months late, and on the one night no gives a damn about what happened last year.

        Verdict: Showtime needs Roy Jones.

        lol.
I hated Jones as a commentator. All he did was big himself up. Everything he said went back to talking about himself. He always big ups the fighters he beat in the past to make his victories more special than what they were.
Very true. I don't want to ever hear him as a commentor again.

Jones 'big upped' guys like Hopkins and Toney, because they deserved it. Period. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just, well...wrong.

Roy did not want to have obligations to Gary Shaw, that is why he cancelled the fight. But ********** did not ask Roy about that. ESPN DID. That's the difference in class between these sports media outlets.

Really, his commentary during the Gatti fight was spot on IMO.

And his Rap Skills are ok too, when accompanied by Mystikal (rapist) and Fiend (****e), The beats were heavy (Best beats come from down south, No limit, cash money, seriously.) LOL, He used to rap on his entrance to the ring.

Don't lie to yourselves people, you know he beats DMX lyrically, dont make me have to post some lyrics up here.
