Roy Jones Jr Not Fighting On Showtime

ROY JONES JR NOT FIGHTING ON SHOWTIME
    By G. Leon

Former pound for pound king Roy Jones Jr will not be fighting on Showtime Championship Boxing on June 9 as originally scheduled. Jones was unavailable for immediate comment, however ********** understands that the bout crumbled because Roy wanted $1M more than the $500,000 offer that was on the table for him to fight Anthony Hanshaw on that date. (3:41 PM EST)

Roy thinks hes worth 1 million... hahaha, he got

Roys been losing lately, what makes him think hes worth any real money. He's lucky that they're even offering him half a mil. Take it or leave it! Leave it and no one cares really accept the roy jones jr fans. I like roy, but I honestly don't care if he doesn't fight ever again.

Actually, $1.5 million is what he wanted. RJJ is a joke. The Ajamu fight showed he can't draw on PPV anymore and he prices himself out of every other fight. He'll never be in another serious fight ever again...

I say pay him. We're not talking about Peter Manfredo Jr here.

Peter Manfredo has the balls to take on one of the best super-middle weights. Roy Jones Jr doesn't, thats the difference between the two.
