Yeah that Dana White is an idiot. He only took a company that was several million dollars in debt and made it into the fastest growing sport and those who invested into UFC, and himself, millionaires.

mma is for people who got bored watching wwe, its instant entertaiment for the dog fight type of people with blood lust and low attention spans. Granted there are many great and skilled fighters but overall the types of fighter you get from "The ultimate fighter" are thuggish redknecks who otherwise would be picking fights in bars and shaving their palms.
The whole concept of mma is kind of false advertising. Now most of these guys all train for one way of fighting, take the guy down and ground and pound. Yes they use elements of various martial arts but most of these guys arent experts in any field of those martial arts. They should give what they do a name like ultimate street fighting, lol, rather than mma.
Its not the same as when you had someone from one martial art come in as an expert practitioner against someone from another, that was more exciting and interesting to see.

no, i said there are many great fighters and martial arts experts fighting in mma, so now everybody does jj ok, but not many of them are real top jj guys, most fighters are crosstrained to the same level where every fight looks the same, the mma style has evolved into this from those early days which i clearly found more interesting because of the clash of styles, i like ufc and i watch it and im well informed on all fighting techniques and respect those fighters. I just find some of the tuf people to be the prime example of low level martial artists who then get hailed as great fighters on the internet because of the hype of the UFC`s own publicity.

Boxing should have a commissioner which Teddy Atlas has suggested many times. Somebody who represents boxing well.

I don't mind UFC, but I like boxing a lot more. Most of my friends are all into UFC and Pride. The only time I like watching MMA fights is when both opponents are on their feet the majority of the time. I think people like MMA because it resembles more of a street fight. Where in boxing there is a lot a skill to it, hence the phrase the sweet science.

Todd Mcfarlene is one of comic books best buisnessman, he took a trivial thing like toys and has made it into a multimillion dollar merchandising enterprise branching into several genres into the toy collecting buisness as well as several sports ventures making him rich.

But ive met the guy, and listening to him talk is ****in ridiculous, its just annoying to hear him open his mouth.

Having good buisness sense doesnt make you into a great communicator, and dana white is just like todd mcfarlene, real annoying when they speak.
