Until someone beats him, Joe is the Champ. Period. But based on quality of opp over the last near three years, Kessler is the best fighter in the division.

Kessler IMO is the best SMW. Even though fights with Calzaghe and Hopkins would be close and could go either way. Kessler is the younger man and is in his physical prime. Would be just enough to beat Calzaghe and Hopkins.

Hopkins has not even fought at SMW, yet. Come on now. He really shouldnt be even on that poll, but I think he is better than all those dudes except maybe kessler. cant talk **** about kessler untill he gets exposed.

calzaghe has more natural talent, though even though the reaper of runcorn beat him and got robbed by hometown judges of newbridge.

Boy it was close wasn't it? I scored it for Reid also but barely.

I'll go with Kessler (no surprice there)

But a fight with Calzaghe (if it happens soon, and Calzaghe isn't allready slipping too bad) would be very close to 50-50 chances really.

Could be one hell of a fight. Think they could both force each other to show the very best of their abilities. That would make for one impressive display of boxing skills.

I still think it is Calzaghe. Kessler is good against mediocre opposition (regardless of how they are ranked by the Ring) and I think people are getting carried away by his recent showing against the eminently hittable Andrade.
