He beat a past his prime erik morales he beat barrera which was already making up excuses and was a beaten man before the fight had even started and now because of those victories they consider pacquiao unstopable.Well the truth is he got outboxed by marquez for 11rounds and when pacquiao faces a GOOD BOXING FIGHTER pacquiao will get outboxed and people will realize he really was about nothing.

yeah but morales was past his prime and barrera was already a beaten man before the fight had even started so yes rafa marquez is better than pacquiao rafa is a boxer who hits hard with both hands ....pacquiao is just a brawler who would get schooled easily by a fighter who could box.

Pacquiao is more than a brawler. Im not just saying that because I am a fan. We all know here that Pacquiao isn't the most technically sound boxer there is, but he does have ability. Case in point his fast hands and power.

What makes boxing great is that you don't have to have the best skills in the world to win. Heart and determination play a big factor in who wins or loses. His heart and determination makes him the great fighter he is and also one of the most exciting there is.

The main post to this thread did make some legit points. I've always thought about that stuff and had to make an accessment on where Manny stands based on those same points. Manny beats an out of focus Barrera although I think he woulda beat any form of Barrera. Manny draws against a focused and probably one of the best technical boxers EVER. Manny loses against an aging Morales. Then Morales loses to Zahir and Manny KOs him in the next 2 fights. I mean, you can't blow Manny's wins against Morales too far out of proportion when he did go into those 2 fights already with a loss.
I think we can say the reason Manny is great is because even though the guys he beat and the way he beat them, not many other fighters could have done that. Barrera did continue to go on and show amazing performances following the Pacquaio loss, and Morales was never KOed before nor dominated the way he was in the 3rd fight. Not many over the hill legends would be dominated the way Manny did it to Morales. Manny's speed and power is what really sets him apart and he does have some skills and is always learning. You can see he's a learner by watching something new in his every fights. That's what makes him p4p material and exciting to watch.

you're possibly new here so you probably havent heard about the story...... of..xcaret!!, let me tell it to you. Once upon a time here on boxingscene all we did was cheer and laugh, now this was a time when boxers would wear nice 8oz gloves and judges werent as messed up a fair world for boxing everything so bright, One day along came a black sheep known to us as xcaret, He was a guy who didnt take to kindly to the pinoy boxing fans everything would usually run smooth though, but one day something came along a team decided to take place a team called team pinoy, their first victim known as xcaret who one day decided to pull a fast one on one or two of them noticed the team but things ran like that until one night team pinoy had heard enough of him they decided no more of him they all gathered and did something to him wich is still not spoken of him till this day, I will never forget the yelling, the last thing we all saw was one of our leaders bigpoppapump run towards the crowd and hault everything, one of Xcaret's friends yelled xcaret!! as he saw how xcaret ended up battered and sucking his own ****, xcaret stopped what he was doing looked at everyone and ran away as he yelled im not gay dont look at me!, To this day it is said that in the amazon woods you can still hear xcarets voice yelling out loud im not gay!, im not gay!. The end. and that is what christmas is all about....... No wait, what were we talking about?.
