Won't happen. People can look at some of joes old fights, pick out flaws from joe. But if you look at joe now, you can see with each fight he gets better and better. And people won't give him credit now but he has fought some tough people.

He fought prime versions of these fighters:

    Robin Reid

Omar Sheika(OMAR only had one loss before fighting joe)

    Boxing:
Only boxer to ever stop Byron Mitchell*in my opinion a well deserved stoppage because byron stop throwing back and his defense game got bad*

Floored Eubank in the first round: eubank wasn't that old, and eubank came into that shape in terrific shape so no excuses should be made.

Sakio Bika: Tough opponent that people won't give joe credit for beating. It was really the first real loss on bikas record, because I heard bika talking about he was robbed against Sam Soliman. But from what I've heard online, that isn't so far fetch, and that he probably was robbed against soliman...

Jeff Lacy: American public rooting for jeff lacy, Joe destroying lacy like its nothing. Out landing him, dodging him. Just schooling lacy in almost every department. And now americans are ****heads, and because of lacy's last fight where he pulled his left shoulder or something while fighting. Lacy is so called an ass fighter now, yet lacy was destroying vitali before his left arm got ****ed up. That fight kind of reminded me of joes fight against robin reid. Joe was beating the **** out of robin reid pretty good from what i've heard(not seen just yet) but I heard joes left arm got hurt in the fight in the 4rth round like got pulled or something. A boxer who fights with one arm is alot harder. Their both professionals so it makes it really hard when you're missing an arms power and speed. This win, you can't take anything away from joe. For how much ball swetting alot of american boxing fans did to lacy, hyping him up.

Those are the six names I see on calzaghes list as being pretty good competition. Some of you may disagree.

I don't know, I saw an article the other day on another site and in that, Calzaghe was quoted as saying he might fight on until he's 40!

Match against Kessler would be good and if successful, a move up to light heavy might be on the cards. Joe says he wants to win a title at two weights.

I think he’ll fight on till he gets that blown up paycheck, then will call it quits.

Anything can happen. Rahman vs Lewis. Tyson vs Douglas. Honeyghan vs Curry. Llang vs Duran.

He is a good fighter, but his opponents are not that great, more than 70% of his opponents are natural in Middle, Light Middle. Evans Ashira has faught at 132KG and Manfredo has lost to a Light Welter. Even Eubank was a Natural Middleweight.
He needs to now prove hes so good by beating some big SMWs.
He would even get my respect by fighting Clinton Woods who is bigger than Joe and one tough motha.

Retiring at 35. And just think. Bernard will probably have defeated a heavyweight by then. Just another difference between great fighters and padded myths.

You go ahead and name me all the fantastic boxing greats who either a). Retired undefeated as champion after the age of 35, or b). Won/defended their title into their 40s.

Oh wow, by those standards Valuev is like Muhammed Ali!

Still waiting on you to name one great fighter that Calzone has on his record? Why can't Calzone become light heavyweight champion before he is 40?

Oh yeah, he's not a great fighter and never will be. I guess we won't see Calzone fighting a heavyweight anytime soon, let alone challenging one. Retire Calzone, do boxing a favor.
