Where did you draw the similarities? They're big and black? There is absolutely nothing similar between Briggs and Whitaker.

      Stop the presses.

This obviously means there's no point to discussing this fight anymore. You've openly stated how it's going to go.....no questions asked.

Don't know if you're being sarcastic... So, next time please put a /sarcasm since I can't hear your voice tone online even if you write it like that. Shannon Briggs hits like a cannon but is too slow for ibragimov. Briggs has had 2 fights where he lost to two bums that were ibragimov's height. Look at his record and the people who have beaten him. Oh, and foreman definitely beat the **** out of briggs. Ashame foremans not fighting still, so briggs can rob foreman again. HAHAHA

Briggs ideal of a great professional heavyweight!!! I'm going to hit the gym and weights but forget about the cardio since I HAVE asthma!!!
No /sarcasm needed to a big ***** like briggs... he's a roid head.

Briggs is lame, he blamed his loss to wilson on his asthma... He's a *****. And I sure hope your briggs because that oily picture in your sig is kind of really gay if your not him...

That steroid look body of briggs didn't make wilson afraid. Pretty sure it won't make a better opponent then wilson Ibragimov afraid. Takes more then steroid looking muscles to box. Skill is required, something briggs obviously lacks in

What I meant was, Iggy punches fast and hard. He knocked Whitaker down three times, and Whitaker decided to quit after taking some punches that gave him a cut on the left eye in the 7th, although the doctor and referee were going to let the fight continue. Sultan punches hard enough to stop Briggs.

"i see this fight being boring for the first 4 or 5 rounds..."

In the three fights of his I've seen, Sultan came out fast, so I doubt whether the first rounds will be boring. He knocked Lance Whitaker down in the first round of their fight, and knocked Sergio Mora out in the first round!

They both punch hard enough to stop each other, so you can't conclude from one guy's power that the other guy is getting knocked out.

I don't know what will happen. If they fought ten times they'd probably each knock each other out several times. But they're fighting once and this is one of the harder upcoming fights to predict. I hope Briggs pulls a vintage performance. I think he's confident he can unify (I don't think he can, of course) and I want to see him try.

Shannon Briggs has fast hands and a powerful right, so he can knock most people out if given the chance, and Sultan is a brawler type boxer who comes forward a lot, so Briggs will likely be able to connect. But Briggs isn't very difficult to hit either, and Sultan punches faster and harder than the overrated Lyakhovich, hard enough to knock Briggs out.

It should be a great fight, lots of action in the early rounds, and I bet it will not go the distance! I hope it's televised in North America.
little dissapoining? Klitschko knocked Austin out in the second round and Iggy struggled with him through 10

Briggs hits hard and when Liakhovich tasted a few of his shots in the 1st and 2nd round he stayed away for the rest of the fight knowing that he will get countered and hurt pretty bad. A lot of you guys are underestimating Briggs the guy can punch. I wouldnt be suprised if Iggy got tagged a few times in the early rounds and the fight would be stopped
