Calzaghe actually was prepared to go to Germany and fight him, I believe Frank Warren offered him a **** load of money for the fight in Germany.

This is indeed true, Ottke was offered $1 million + but backed out.

ottke is not a real fighter, from what i heard hes lost many fights but the german judges always give it to him. iv watched the reid fight and he clearly lost. fact is hes just an average fighter that was protected.

i've watched about 10 of his last fights and many of those were either gifts or questionable...........the Mundine KO was a clear fluke as it hit Mundine' flush on the temple, yet until that round, Mundine was schooling Ottke...

When I watched the Reid fight, I felt like vomiting at all the fanfare of such a rigged fight and that ref, well he was well looked after for warning Reid for hitting Ottke..


Calzaghe would have creamed his ass easily, but of course, why risk going to Germany to lose....

both of them were fight dodgers, this fight never happend cuz neither fighter wanted to leave the safety of their home turf (ottke in particular).
