I actually feel that he doesn't get enough credit.Regarding the Margarito fight atleast. Most people seem to say that Margarito always ******,or Margarito was exposed. Not "Hey,do you know what? That Joshua kid is pretty good".

I am a huge Clottey fan, and i think he's the most underrated fighter in the sport. I think he will beat Chico convincingly, but who's gonna wanna fight this guy? I hope for the sport he gets a big money fight, but i think he will be one of the most feared fighters, and his age is gettin there. I HOPE he gets on that p4p list, but he may never get the chance.

The Corrales fight won't show us much of anything, except how shot Corrales is. Clottey will defeat him handily. He is way too big for Diego.

Clottey is a good fighter, but he will have a lot of work to do to get top ten p4p. Mosley, Collazo, Margarito, Judah, and so on. He needs to beat these guys to get some mention. Or, he could move up in weight to 154 where there is action.

you're right this fight is all about Corrales; how much he has left after all the ring wars and if he can find a home at welter. He's a great fighter and this will either be literally just what the doctor ordered or his swan song. imo castillo should probably spend his last few fights at welter also, but the lure of all that money with Hatton was probably too much for him.

btw although Clottey has tons of heart is very limited and if past opposition is any indicator Corrales should be able to put on a boxing clinic being the taller man with decent power and faster hands. clottey has fought alot of guys, mostly bums and has only Margarito, Guitierrez and Baldomir as noteworthy opposition. the margarito fight was a fight of his life type night, and very likely he was only as successful in part due to Margarito's layoff.

but it was the way he did it. he's so impressive, and its hard to ignore him anymore.

He has a habit of being undiscaplined, a lot of penalties and a DQ.

But against Marg, he was throwing wide punches that were still fast! You dont see that often. Not even Mayorga throws his shots as fast.

And Clottey has a shell of a defense.

He's hard to find, but he nails his opponent pretty easily it seems.

Based on what ive seen, IDK if he beats everyone in the talent heavy division, but he'll give them hell and thats a garuntee
