I dont understand it ? I cant see how Mayweather will Beat Oscar !

If Floyd wins he'll have a shout to being one of the greatest of all time. And he has a chance to be able to do it. BUt hey, don't get carried away. It's not going to be by knockout. Floyd had reasonable pop at the lighter weights but was never a very concussive puncher. Most of his stoppages have been through accumulation. If Floyd couldn't knock out Zab Judah how is he going to knock out Oscar?

How can Floyd beat Oscar? By sticking and moving, running and gunning. How can Oscar beat Floyd? Any way he chooses.

That's why Floyd taking this fight is a ballsy move. The way Mayweather fans act it's like noone has a chance of beating him. Which leads me to believe that the appeal of Mayweather is like the appeal of all other apparently "unbeatable" atheletes or teams: It's about gloating over victory, not about the thrill of competition.

Good Posts On Both Sides...

The more debates I read about DLH vs PBF, the more I'm becoming convinced that it aint gonna be a simple bout to score.

I think the outcome is a toss up if you think about it.

I'm hi-lighting a few of the attributes that stand out for me right now (please pardon any ommissions):

PBF: younger, in his prime, faster, undefeated, never been knocked out, intelligent, a virtually complete package (excluding one punch ko power), has a top 5 trainer in uncle Roger, never tires in a fight, championship fight experience.

DLH: heavier, good hand speed, good ring generalship, has ko power with either hand, adapts easily to any fighter, championship fight experience, coached in different styles via different trainers.

Oscar's advantage upon his request: higher weight class, smaller ring, glove brand and size.

Seems to be a virtual even playing field.

The x-factor, imo, will be who's jab is more effective, and who get's off first.

Oscar claimed he's going to bring everything he's got, Floyd stated he's going to bring something new and different.

Go figure.
