i think floyd will win, and i can say this beacause if you look back to most of floyds big fights, people say, this guy is bigger than floyd, hits harder, is bigger at the weight, is to tall, throws to many punches, can push him about, can do this can do that, and they all ended the same way, with floyds hand being held by the ref at the end of the fight and floyd gettin his belt. Floyd beats guys down, takes them into the deep water and drowns them. i mean lets not get all hyped about this fight, this isnt the oscar de la hoya of yesterday, i mean the guy isnt a young stud anymore he is gettin older slower and easier to hit, and floyd bascily is the young stud with everythin to prove because fans and media tell us that this unbeating amazing fighter isnt good enough and oscar is better. i hope floyd wins, because if he does, he will for sure get the respect he deserves from beatin someone who everyone things is a top10 best fighter ever, floyd to win "if oscar de la hoya wants it he know's ma number and if he wants it, bring it on i'll tax that ass too"

Mayweather can definently outbox Oscar for 12 rounds. Floyd will choose his shots and then move over and over again. Oscar better not get tricked into boxing with Floyd like Baldomir was. Oscar is much better than Baldomir but I still see the same UD win for Mayweather.

By outboxing him ? Hoya himself is a superior boxer who is probably the only one who can compete at the same level as Floyd.

I just dont see it...Hoya is bigger ,stronger and hits hard. If he connects on Floyds chin...Floyd is gonna feel it. It's a 12 round fight , Oscar will connect clean sooner or later. The only way Floyd can really win this fight is if he gets on his bike and runs. Really though...how can you disagree ?

I am a floyd fan buit, lets face it....Delahoya knows that this is his all time fight and will prevail...I doubt that he will knock out floyd but, I see Delahoya winning on points...so this thread will continue to go on until the day of the fight . technique n power but his footwork

floyd is a master of defense his footwork is great
his speed is great and he doesnt use it all the time

you cant hurt what u cant hit, and a DLH shot that would normally be enough to hurt PBF, will be to slow for a quick guy like Mayweather.

Mayweather is much quicker, has a much better defense, and doesnt lack in power at all.

The one thing people completely overlook about mayweather is his ability to throw a good power shot.

Watch round 4 against baldy. That straight right hand would have done some serious damage to DLH.

PBF is gonna school DLH, and trust me when i say that Size will not be a factor in this fight.

simply put, floyd mayweather is a smarter fighter than oscar imo. his ring genraliship is better. size don't matter, speed don't matter, strength doesn't matter if you don't have the smarts to use them effectively, and oscar does have the smarts. the only difference is that floyd mayweather is smarter than oscar is, hands down. this will win mayweather the fight. oscar will lose.
