All great fighters need a rival, Eubank had Benn, Jones had Tarver, Leonard had Duran, Ali had Frazier, could Kessler be Joe's?

If Joe takes the risk of fighting Kessler, I will gain some respect back for him. Win or lose.

Joe's already lost to Robin Reid, it won't be long before Kessler finishes what Robin started.

I'm talking the truth, no need to get aggressive just because your hero lost to Robin Reid, hahaha.

I see. What gives you that opinion? Was it perhaps Calzaghe's last fight against Bika where he didnt perform well. Or was it the demolition of Jeff Lacy where he threw outrageous combinations and completely neutralized the thread of the supposedly most dangerous P4P fighter on the planet?

Cos I'd hate to think that you're judging your opinion on one fight.

Have you actually even seen Calzaghe?

"No I'm not. Calzaghe is slightly slower. Go check out some more Kessler fights. He's lightning."

based on yesterday performance kessler speed is not on par and defienetly not better than calzaghe

if kessler and calzaghe ever get in the ring together. kessler only chance would be to keep calzaghe at the end of his jab following up with rights.

but i can see that happening with calzaghe superior lateral movement and ability to fight on the inside

but at supermiddle this is calzaghe most dangerous opponent out there rightnow

klesser doesnt hit as hard or as fast as calzaghe.. hes nowhere near calzaghes speed .. this is the first fight ive seen of him but noway is he good as calzaghe.. hes too square for cazaghe.. all that being said calzaghe could still be ducking him .. but if he saw his fight i doubt he'll duck him anymore

Kessler quicker than Calzaghe? Wow. Seriously, that's just ignorant.

As for Reid winning against Calzaghe ... it seems even Reid didn't think so at the time - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sport/279246.stm .... I wouldn't pay too much attention to a hometown judge giving a verdict to the hometown fighter when the two neutral judges give it by wide distances to the winner.
