these pacfans who think pacquiao is as good as mayweather are really delusional and ******. there is absolutely no comparison between the two. mayweather would make pacquiao look like a drunken chump for a few rounds then he would KTFO of pacquiao.

I think the best way to end this debate is to think about how a fight between Mayweather and Pacman would play out at 130. Think about it, real ****in hard, remove all your external insignifigant thoughts you have about "personalities" or all of that ****** ****. Think of only IN RING PERFORMENCE, @ 130, Mayweather crushes Pac and likely KO's him. Thats pretty much why he said what he said. Many of you would do anything to see something negative about mayweather, some of you would rather deny the realities of how good he actually is, and just like pernell whitaker, you will never give him his due until hes long gone and there isnt anything else like him to root against/for.

Because of his undefeated record, the only thing people have left to really get on is his pompous and arrogant additude, a so called "robbery" in JLC part 1, and just various bull**** to fuel the fire as to why you hate him.

You're mostly right, and as far as a head to head matchup with Pacquaio is concerned, I hope no one in the world would pick Pacquaio. That's delusional.

BUT, the key blemish on his transcript is that he has not beaten the best fighters out there. The '0' does not speak in his favor. It highlights the problem, whatever the reasons are that those matchups have not been made. The personality thing is just an extra bonus, and is a justifiable reason to hate him and root against him, but not a reason to dimish what his accomplishments actually are.

I think if no one talked of him being an ATG (he's not even in the ballpark yet there) then there would be less reason for us to rail against him.

                Are you crazy?
                The Roberto Duran song was?
                I don't remember Joe Louis, Jack Johnson's, Joe Frazier's, Robinson's etc etc Wheatie's Box.
Tyson did NOTHING outside the ring initially but became huge due to his knock-out, fearsome reputation.
Household names in boxing are generally due to their in the ring qualities. Ali was the major exception and Foreman was a household name before his grill.
Sports stars don't get national commercials when they are only known to inside the sport fans. They are booked cause everyone knows them and associates them with success, skill, etc.

The thing is, the original quote in the first post only stated somthing PBF had said.
Who knows if he was refering to a hypothetical matchup or just their relative achievements and p4p status.
I believe it was the latter.
In which case its pretty close IMO.

Pac has done some extraordinary things like jumping from Flyweight to Super Bantamweight and looks to be only getting stronger at Super Featherweight. And has beaten some true battle hardened legends along the way.

i never knew Duran, Joe Louis, Jack Jackson, Joe Frazier ( maybe he wa Ali oppenet), and Robinson before i was into boxing.

i knw Ali, Tyson, Nassem Hamed and Forman at best and if you go to ask a guy who doesnt know boxing much it would be similar and maybe lewis add to the buncj and Holyfield for the ears

actually a fantasy fight at 130 between PAC and PBB would be a lot closer than what most people would admit, and a LOT closer P4P

fact 1: Mayweather Beats opponents easily on paper and on the ring

fact 2: Pacquiao Beats opponents who on paper he COULD NOT BEAT but BEAT THEM anyway

if size and weight is not a factor it would be one hell of a fight!!
