Didnt Mayweather touch on this on a BoxingScene interview a few months ago? He said that he would easily beat Pac if they met at 130.

Yeah i agree with this. Another thing is while i do personally think Floyed is a better fighter (though not by much), i really dont think their career records are a good basis for comparing them. The thing is Mayweather came into the sport with a silver spoon and plenty of name recognition. Pacquio turned pro a month after his sixteenth birthday. He got KO'd a year later, but he did win a world title at just 19 (hell of a carreer accomplishment right there). He defended it once before losing the title on the scales and getting KO'd in that fight (weight drain perhaps?). Following that fight, his only other loss is the Morales fight. So, the moral is Pac. had a much tougher climb and has been very successful since having a very young start in the pro game. I got mad respect for Pac.

I think it shows guts and will and passion when a guy get KDed the way Pacquioa has. Leaving himeself open going in for the kill. Like against barrera, even thought that was a BS call.

Not sayin Pacquioa is the better fighter though.

And there is NO shame losing to Morales, especially considering he came back wtih 2 KO victories over him right afterward
