Manfredo: "I Can Knock Joe Calzaghe Out"

During a recent interview with the Providence Journal, Peter Manfredo, Jr. told the paper that he was very confident of pulling off an upset when he meets underfeated WBO super middleweight champ Joe Calzaghe on April 7, in Cardiff, Wales. The fight will take place at the Millennium Stadium with a likely crowd of 30,000 Calzaghe fans.

This subject has been discussed plenty, but Manfredo has to believe he can beat Joe otherwise what's the point?
Personally, i think he is no match for Calzaghe.

I am surprised that HBO aren't forcing Calzaghe to fight better fighters, considering they are paying for this bull****.

Look at all the other p4p fighters, they are fight the best. He is the only one fighting bums.

They should make him fight the winner of Kessler/Andrade next.

I think Manfredos head is a little swelled after his last couple of KO wins......I wish him the best of luck and would be very happy for him if he can pull it off.....but I really doubt it.I think Calzaghe is due for another strong performance and will win big to ste up hopefully a huge fight in the late summer or fall.

I just checked out Manfredo's record..... I cant believe he has a shot at Calzaghe.

Only 12 KO's from 26 wins. And he's gonna KO Calzaghe????

Hmmm....bollocks. If he does stop Calzaghe, that just means Joe is finished.

I seriously think that Manfredo has a good shot at upsetting Calzaghe. But definetly not knocking him out.

I think Manfredo will chance opinion after a couple of rounds and will seattle to just survive in the fight. Joe will look impressive in this fight, and then i hope he will get a big fight. He sure needs it.
