you hit it man. The ref got to 9 and stopped counting and almost helped Luan up. Not every fight is poorly judged or not all are biased, but it's tough to win over there unless you stop the fighter or win over the crowd in previous performances. Thats why I think Minto got a fair shake in the judging.

yeah ultimately he did luan a great disservice cause he took an absolute bomb in the 9th round that he should never have taken..

i watched the bostice and minto fights on youtube and it is obvious that krasniqi has become very hesitant since that loss, it has had a visible efect on his confidence and i dont see it changing

i thought it was borderline nuts that he actually had to quit for that brewster fight to end... its sad that nobody besides himself had his best interests in mind at that moment... the ref should have stopped it as soon as he hit the canvas... the corner should have stopped it if the ref didnt... instead he had to walk to the corner and talk them into it and shame himself when he probably couldnt have told you where he was at the time

As for the actual fight between Krasniqi and Brewster, the popular opinion is that Krasniqi was thoroughly out-classing Brewster, he wasn't. I had Krasniqi up until Brewster knocked him down for the count in thd 8th, and then when Krasniqi got a very, very, long count of 9 1/2, I had it even when Krasniqi gave up in the 9th. Brewster was behind on the cards for sure but it was Germany, he was going to behind on the cards no matter what. Brewster will stop luan again and then a big fight with Briggs or Wlad afterwards
I dunno. thats a very risky fight for brewster. kras gave him a tough time there first meeting and its doubtful brew is quite the same fighter now. I think hes crazy to take that fight over a title shot with wlad. too little to gain and too much to lose in taking on krasniqui. go for the title shot before its too late. hell he could end up losing or going blind before he makes it to wlad

Hell that might the exactly why he shouldn't fight Wlad next. Wlad would do more damage to his eye than Krasniqi could. Luan would be a safer litmus test on where Brewster is career-wise and could be more money as well.

brew should take a tune up before krasniqi, he needs a bum in front of him for a few rounds to get his timing back and test the waters, then some real hw's. a long layoff is never good, while he's been out these guys have been getting fights in

For months now, I've been hearing rumors that Brewster is ready to get back into the ring but nothing so far has materialized. I think that behind the scenes Brewster and his promoters are trying to set-up a big fight. Perhaps, one last big payday...

What I would like to see, is Brewster get back in against a solid journeyman, work some of the rust out and get back some confidence and then step up against someone like Krasniqi... Nevermind, getting back in against arguebly the best hw in the game. Actually, I think that this would be suicide for Brewster because his heart wouldn't let him give up as easily as Austin did.

Botton line is that Brewster needs to get back into the ring and fight a tune-up or two before stepping up the level of competition. I mean, just look at Evander Holyfield; he's been relatively busy fighting low risk fighters (save Fres) and has looked pretty sharp doing so.

The rematch is total BS. The only reason Wladimir is contemplating this is because he knows Brewster is damaged goods, but it still could be marketed to the general public because of the story-lines. If Sanders were still active, he would be next.

Yeah, I think you're right on target on this one. IMO, Brewster wouldn't stand a chance against Wlad and he might get hurt because he can take a punch and has more heart than most heavies now days.

On the subject of Sanders, he's got a bout lined up in May or June against Chris Koval. Don't be surprised if a rematch between him and Klitschko starts to materialize if he(sanders) looks impressive against Koval...

naaa,,,wlad wanted the rematch earlier but according to brewster,,,"wlad didnt deserve it". Anyway,,,whether he;s totally damaged goods or not remains to be seen. who else would people rather wlad fight being all the other champs all have fights lined up? its still an exciting matchup
