when ever i watch boxing on HBO and SHOWTIME, i turn off the volume. You wanna see bad commentating, watch Winky-Taylor, Winky blocked most of the Taylor's punches and Lampley called them like they connected. I hate Lampley, I hope HBO could get someone like Joe Tessitore from ESPN.Comment

Yeah i find myself getting pissed at Lamps and Merchant, but then I wonder why when I watch older fights. they are the same then too. But Foreman was there for comedic releif. It reminds me of Lennox ****ing guys name pronounciations. Its funny/annoying and distracts from the biased commentary. Teddy is still okay, Papa, Max, Shobox, Al, and like threadstarter said Manny. Roy jones was okay too (and he was on Married with children last night, HA!)Comment

Actually I like listing to Lampley and Merchant, I can't stand both guys and I think both are very biased but I just enjoy listing to them. Manny Steward is the one I can't stand, he thinks he's god or something.Comment

Me too I actually like the HBO crew. But i understand what you guys are saying, they were definitely biased toward Barrera. I thought Marquez was landing the cleaner punches and wasn't getting credit for it fromt Lamps & company. I still like them though maybe because I've been watching them since i was young.Comment

they were defitnetly on MABs ballsack. Manny was whining like a little ***** at the end though. I wanted to hit mute on that **** it was terrible.Comment
