yes well i think the thing is, the commentators are there to commentate for ppl who don't really know much about boxing..........and thats why they can get away with their ballsucking commentating....

when it comes to the real boxing fans, such as us who have half an idea, we can damn right see/hear how fked up they are...

they are just there to brainwash the general public on behalf of HBO

Lampley is a cheerleader. You should see the Oscar/Whitaker fight. When Oscar was hitting the air, Lampley called them like they connected.

i too was disgusted with the commentary.....marquez was landing the cleaner punches throughout the fight but listening to them it was like barrera was putting on a clinic.....remember lampley screaming "that was a knockdown" man i thought he was going to jump in there and beat the crap out of nady......they never brought up the fact that barrera sucker punched marquez while he was down until after 2 rounds later after replays clearly showed it.......from now on im going with the spanish crew on hbo fights....lampley is to damn biased........

I don't know if anyone caught the Mormeck/Bell fight on FSN but you want to talk about horrible annoucing......well that was it.I don't think I have ever watched a boxing telecast with worse announcing in my life.

Like usual,Steward seemed the only truly neutral one.Lederman irritates me the most though.His scoring is getting increasingly worse and worse.He puts too much emphasize on unaffective agression.
