That's a point... I always thought Bell would be the easier match up for The Gay, despite his powers of recovery.

The Gay reckons he'd beat both of them easily anyway... I'm not so sure.

Sounds like another great fight! My ex cancelled the sports package on Sky so i missed all boxing!
Sounds like a 3 fight wouldnt be out of order - Bell deserves it! But let Haye have his shot 1st! Im not sure if he'd win - i think he might but win lose or draw it would be a crackin fight!

        I'm not so sure.

People were chatting on about how Bell and Mormeck were gassed, but they fail to realize those are big men throwing a **** load of punches.

And I don't want to hear some asswipe enter this thread and talk about how he can hit a "punching bag" for ten rounds and how he's a "heavyweight". lol bags don't hit back and loading up on Cheeseburgers doesn't make you a ****ing heavyweight. More like blown up featherweight who is way over their possible BMI the fat talkative bastards.

          LOL, I like the rant.

I agree, their workrate was immense for the weight. Certainly I can't envisage The Gay getting into that level of trench warfare.

That said, both of them didn't look as unbeatable as they had in the first fight. Mormeck seemed wider and more careless, while Bell didn't seem to have the same powers of recovery. But I'd put the Gay the underdog with either of them.

It was a great fight. And of course, leave it to the French to **** up announcing the winner. They say its a unanimous decision and then after they announced the first judges score said who won so you knew who one the fight.

yeah i thought that was hilarious too

i had mormeck 115-113, though i thought his running was reminiscent of spinks/karmazin and i criticized corey for it at the time so i guess i have to say im not happy w/ mormeck and actually lost a little respect for him

i thought mormeck landed 75 percent of the major blows in this fight.. it was obvious that mormeck was winning almost every round early and bell wasnt offereing a whole lot of variety... once mormeck got tired bells jab, str5aight right started getting through a lot more but it just didnt have any power on it by that time. mormeck washowever the only one seriously hurt in the fight too... oneill bells chin is a wonderful thing

mormeck looked in trouble in the fight several times on the ropes, but he managaed to keep moving off them unlike the first fight albeit most of the time it was an exhausted stumble that got him moving

no way bell of mormeck is gonna make much noise at heeabyweight if they tire so quickly at an even 200 pounds...

id say haye has a decent shot at mormeck cause JMM def leaves some openings and i dont doubt for a second that he will get knocked out if haye catches him walking in... bell i would favor over haye much moireso cause im not sure he can be knocked out and haye has shown stamina problems himself and i dont see him winning a 12 round UD over a boxer like oneaill
