60-54 at the end of round 6? That's plain awful scoring.

Barrera clearly took the first 6 rounds. Thus resulting in a 60 to 54 scoring for the first half of the fight.

I'd also like to clear up an earlier mistake. The final score should've been 114 to 112 for Barrera, I forgot to type out the point deduction.

There were a few rounds that could've gone either way but I clearly disagree with the scoring of the fight. If anything it should've been a draw. Perhaps my scoring the first 6 rounds for Barrera is off a bit, but there are others here who've posted scorecards giving Barrera only 3 rounds of the entire fight.

Either way Jay Nady made a bull**** call that altered the outcome of a fantastic fight. And it's not just Nady. I can't count the number of times guys have been knocked down only to have a dumb referee either rule it not a knockdown, or call it a slip. Never before have I seen one just stand there with his thumb up his ass the way Nady did last night though.

I don't know which is worse, judges or referees. They've both played a huge part in ****ing up some of boxing's biggest matches over the last 60 years.

he may have also lost a few million dollars with a rematch with marquez. JMM would be the main man now.
had nady correctly called it a knockdown it would have never been an issue. Barrera even waited for a while, waiting for a call of some sort and nady didn't do ****.

I saw the fight much closer than the actual scorecards, and if the knockdown had been correctly called I even had MAB winning by a slight margin.

It was a great fight and its a shame there had to be controversy like that

Let's the have this conversation again after the rebroadcast next weekend.

              Barrera did not win.

Marquez did all the heavy lifting.

Barrera was countering, playing the superstar..

There was an unneeded emphasis on the issue of the KD by HBO.

There is an unneeded emphasis of it here.

It should have been a 2 point deduction or a DQ.. Nady only took a point.

He ****ed that up too. Where's the debate on that??

That punch was very similiar in timing of the Jones Jr. DQ shot.

Roy's may have been quicker, even.. (?)

Most of all; Barrera ****ED UP.

That foul negated his KD and could have cost him the fight..

Like I said before; DUMB move by a smart fighter.

he beat his balls enough for him to refuse 2 rematches against Pac. That's a victory to me in a way.

                  I just checked.

Roy's was a quick little combo. He did throw 2 compact shots.

                  The timing was FASTER.

Barrera's illegal shot was WORSE if you ask me..

                  He should have been DQ'd.

                  I wouldn't have cared.
