He looked young and was moving really well .
I wonder how long he could have kept up that pace though.

The butt was def not Holy's fault ,he just ducked as Vinny threw and hit heads.

I'd give him a good score for the match maybe a 'B.
Even though he wasn't in with a tip top fighter he fought a damn near perfect fight.

First time he doesnt do a butt intentionally and the medias all over it.. but he looked unbelievable especially for 44... he must of stopped lifting weights and heeled up becuase he left hand hasnt looked like that in 10 years

And he came in at 216 same weight as when he beat Buster .
You'd think if he was using all these roids he would still be picking up weight

The man is amazing at this point I really don't care about all the media stuff .
No matter what he has or was not done I can't bring myself to see him in a lesser fashion .

I can't believe this but I'm slowly growing intrigued by Holyfield again. I'd back him versus Briggs and possibly Maskaev if he's got 50% of his movement back.

it was definately an impressive showing but on the other hand maddalone was tailor made for evander....

i think calvin brock, who also fought on the card, would be a great measuring stick for holyfield to determine whether or not he is ready for a title shot..

One would assume Holyfield will be back out in May-June. Perhaps Brock is on the cards for that one.

Personally, I like to see him in England fighting Danny Williams or Matt Skelton. I'd love to see Holyfield fight live, despite the barnacles that are attached to his legs.

Holy didnt look bad at all. I'm glad they didn't stop it outright after the butt. I thought they had and change their minds actually. I wanted to see more of Brock though. Oh and I thought Evanders speech was way better than hearing Sweet Pea talk haha

No one has more love for Holyfeild than I,but.....I have wish retirement on him for a long time now. After watching last night's fight,I will say he looked impressive. But the main question is the quality of his opponents in his Texas trio.

The first guy he fought and the guy last night are in the category of punching bags. The Fres Oquendo win was impressive....

But I would like to see him step up now...maybe a Brock fight would be a better indicator.
