I forgot to mention that he's undefeated at 34-0, 27 kos in my earlier post. And about the tomato cans he's been fighting, I would expect that from a fighter whose on the comeback trail. Foreman, Briggs, and countless other hw's have employed the same fight strategy in their comebacks.

Point, to call a fighter whose 34-0, has some good wins over decent competition, and who has good punching power, a bum is ridiculous and inaccurate.

Another point, if Mesi doesn't start stepping up the competition soon then I'll have serious reservation about him. But right now, I'll give him a chance.

mesi is doing whats smart for himself... he knows he can make decent money fighting bums for now simplay cause of his name..... once he can get licensed to fight in new york again i think you'll see him take a nice step up in front of his hometown fans....

fact of the matter is he has three things going for him that are priceless.

      1. hes a white heavyweight
      2. he is undefeated
      3. he appears vulnerable

in a world where austin gets a shot for a draw and peter okhello and owen beck get title shots all mesi has to do is beat some pieces of **** and sooner or later as title shot will be dropped in his lap, especially as i stated above that he is viewed as damaged goods and probably an easy victory for a guy like briggs or valuev..

You judge a person by the company he keeps and Lyakhovich is nothing but a ****head just like that puny piece of **** Goltzev who deserves to get mugged in the street and beaten almost to death. Williamson is a piece of **** boxer and he also sucks the big one. A very BIG **** YOU to all three of them.
yea,,wayy too many people jumped on the lyko bandwagon after his win over an out of shape and disinterested brewster. I knew serge was overrated from that fight. hell,,,,he was knocked out by mo harris. he's so vulnerable to anyone with a descent punch. he leaves himself wide open when he throws that ****** lead right to the body and his instinct is to always go to the ropes when he's stunned by a punch which is an absolute no no in boxing. I actually think williamson knocks him out if they ever fight

I agree that mesi was never an elite fighter,,but I dont think he's ever made himself out to be anything he isnt. he seems like a descent guy. the big punchers of the division would have eaten him up,,but you calling professionals boxers bums and wussies ( with the p word in front) is ridiculous considering your just sitting behind a computer and have probably never laced a glove in your life. try showing just a little respect for guys that have got further in the sport than you could ever dream of
