Lewis talks about himself, the idea of always being on your toes absorbing the shock of the blow. He moves backwards and if you notice, he was in position to take the punches from Tua.

If his chin was iron he wouldn't have been knocked out cold with 1 single punch from McCall and Rahman. I don't care about how "Anyone can get knocked out". That's absurd. Foreman was only stopped 1 time his whole career and that was against Ali....in more of a fashion where he was gassed. He ate punches from even bigger punchers than Lewis did and never was out.

Good vid. I always thought Lennox received unwarranted criticism for his chin. The punch he took from Rahman would have knocked out anybody. And the shot from McCall albeit not devastating, was still a well thrown punch from a guy with KO power. Lennox took lots of hard shots right on the chin and didn't get phased as is evident by this vid.

lewis had a solid chin, and no he wasn't out cold by mccall he beat the count and responded to the ref and the ref waived it off in a premature stoppage. now granted he was rocked but he obviously could've continued, watch it.

one thing is apparent, lewis got dropped by shots he didn't see coming, but everything he saw coming he took like a champ.

plus not to mention he beat everyone he's fought, he got revenge on both of his losses and after taking all them shots from all those fighters he still won, that's a champ and a guy with a good beard.................

Yea, iron is a stretch. Tua, Mercer, Ali, those guys had iron chins. But as Deuce stated, dude did have a good beard. Not a china chin by any means like some people seem to claim.

you mistook what i was refering too, tha'ts all. i aint saying nothing at all about Tua's chin that is a grand fact that he has a solid chin.


what i was talking about that you deny the fact that lennox lewis has a decent beard, i never said that he had an iron chin, i did say that he took a lot of big shots from guys that can crack and he beat them, only twice was he stopped, the first one was a premature stoppage(he was hurt but could've continued and wanted too) and the second he was out cold, both defeats avenged in the rematches, both shots that sent him down he didn't see coming, all the other shots he's taken in his career he was in an exchange and knew he could get hit or he saw them coming at him and they didn't knock him out, that's what i was saying homie.........no need to get all crazy on my drinking............it doesn't affect the thruth of the matter.
