Shouldn't "FIGHTING" be against the Christian way?

"Turn the other Cheek", my ass.

I am sure Jesus would like to watch a boxing match

Oh, I forgot, "In the Name of God and Jesus Christ, lets go to WAR"

We should take into consideration that Holyfield didnt actually say that Tyson DID take steroids. Just that the person trying to push steroids on Holyfield told him he did. If you were Holyfield's trainer and promoter for example and wanted him to move on to steroids to maximise his potential...wouldnt you also make a claim that everyone else is doing it? Perhaps that the top guy, an almost unbeatable figure in world boxing is doing so as well?

He still shouldn't have dropped his name. It was a typical **** move. I am a bit biased cause I have always detested the phony singing hypocrit.

If he did take them, then yes, his legacy would be somewhat tainted, but even then, he's still be a legend in my book, and would be in huge company with a lot of other people who have taken drugs IMO. That's not to say that drugs should be acceptable, but it seems to be a huge part of sport.

I find it hard to believe that a boxer who has been pro for so many years wouldn't have been caught at some point. Lets just wait on evidence before we make any real judgements here.
Yeah, but steroids can help with confidence. Amazing what drugs can do.

Lets take the "Men" that are not on steroids for example:
A study showed that the "Elite", meaning the guys that are the "Freaks of nature" when it comes to measured testosterone levels, usually 1000ng+, are more daring, more aggressive, more willing to take risks.

Yes, steroids main purpose I am sure in the begining was to help muscle recovery and come back from injury, but add steroids to build your body, feel that high amount of testosterone in your body, and you start to feel like a "God"

Now, those that have had this feeling most of their life will most likely not feel the same "high" as thoes that are adding it to their body because they (those that are not juicing) have always felt this so it is "normal"

Which reminds me of Bo Jackson. The guy was accused of steroids not to long ago and he called a press conference. He said, "Look into my records, I will give them to the public, I am not or never have been on steroids."
The guy was a freak of nature since high-school. A dirt poor kid who was bigger than everybody. Beat the crap out of people for food because he was "Hungry." Same kid who was said to have benched over 300 pounds in his freshman year of college when made to bench-press to test his strength by his coach. However, Bo, who would be later known for his phrase "Bo Knows", didn't "Know" bench pressing. He surprised the coaches with his amazing brute strength. He was over 200 pounds as a teenager and supposedly never lifted until ???, not sure really.

Yeah I don't think he had ever lifted until then. He is from 15 minutes from my house. Strong and Mean as a Bo ( or Boar like they tried to say). Guy was an animal and is very honest.

He dropped his name. Even Tommy Morrison didn't do this. Though I wonder if this is the name he heard or was it Holyfield.

Either way, I am sure many people looked at Tysn and thought he must be juicing. Especially trainers that are giving their own athletes steroids and think it "Must be the only way." Remember, there are few "Genetic Freaks" compared to the norm.

But remember, anybody that saw my previoius posts in the other thread with bodybuilders from way back in the day, know that you can be big and ripped, and not be on steroids.

John Grimek, Gironda, Klein all were genetically gifted like Tyson. Morrison has openly admitted to his roid use and not offered excuses. He should be given credit for having the Balls as a man Evander lacks outside the ring.

Not only that, but after his sports career was over, he didn't shrink, he filled out and looked even bigger. It was the constant running and excercise that kept his weight down. Reminds me of George Foreman, except that Bo didn't get overly fat.
