    too bad the cubans are not allowed to turn pro. Cuba probably would have had a lot of great pro fighters. The only cuban I know that is champ now is Joel Casamayor.

                Maybe so..but those three didnt stay amateur for 15 YEARS and get used to the amateur game and beat up on inexperienced kids

                  Yeah, Gonzalez is a great example..as an amateur he beat both Bowe AND Lewis with three days of each other at the Pan-AM Games in 1987. He came here, though, and couldn't intimidate the grown version of Rid****

                    you people are *******s, with no common sense (THREAD STARTER AND OTHERS WHO AGREED WITH HIM) cuban fighters dont turn pro so they fight amateur their whole career thats why they dominate, you might have a guy 28 who been fighting amateur forever vs a kid who is 17, its no mystery why and how cuba dominates amateur boxing
