Manny Pacquiao has beaten Morales twice, MAB, and drew with JMM in the last few years and he still hasn't overtaken PBF. The only way I can see PacMan ascending to the top spot is if Floyd retires after the DLH fight...
If Floyd beats Oscar, could Manny ever overtake him on the Pund For Pound Lists?

You guys are worrying about Paquiao gettying the #1 spot, but the way i look at it is if Wright happens to beat hopkins then that should make winky #1 or 2 pound 4 pound.Comment

ill throw another boxer into the mix......
if barrera beats JMM and beats pacman in a rematch, DLH beats PBF and hopkins beats wright, where would you rank barrera in the P4P list???
surely he would have a strong case to be number 1 P4P???Comment

The reason I consider Mayweather P4P is because he has belts in several weight classes and has dominated those with a belt. He is still moving up to fight Oscar. Pacman would have to move up and dominate at least 2 weight classes and dominate to be considered on top.Comment

Actually, if I recall Ring magazine had him on the cover a few months ago and they argued that he could very well be ranked over PBF in the p4p lists, based on what he had done the past year. I dont recall what the actual p4p list was that particular month, but some can argue that he has overtaken him. That being said, should PBF dominate DLH and doesnt retire and fights and beats Mosley, then I can see him remaining or retaking the #1 spot, depending on how you view it now.Comment

As long as PBF stays undefeated he is number 1. I like Pac, but the only way he takes over number 1 is if he beats PBF and that fight probably won't happen.Comment
