The reason why people were scared of Tyson was "TYSON."

Tyson's ability is what made you scared. Tyson's style, explained by Lott (???), helped confuse and break mentally his opponents.

What do you think is War? Most of it is Psychological, right?

There were fighters that weren't scared of Tyson, yet they still got beat. A great example is after Tyson's "invincibility" was no more and he fought Ruddock. Ruddock wasn't scared of Tyson, yet still lost, twice.
