Yeah this will be a great fight. I just saw the Marquez-Pacquiao fight and came away very impressed with JMM. I think this fight will start off slow and heat up in the middle rounds with Marquez using effective counter punching and winning the fight in a SD.

This will not be a brawl or any fight of the year type of fight, I think both men will try to outbox eachother!

I'm going with JMM by UD!

IMO this will NOT be an exiting fight.
MAB is too cautious these days and JMM is just a counterpuncher. Good technical fight but certainly not the war we expect.

        I HOPE I'M WRONG THOUGH...

          your already wrong. lol

MAB was only caution in his last fight. And that was because he NEEDED the win.

Barrera is known for boxing and making a slow fight when he NEEDS the win.

He's fighting for pride against Marquez.

I think you could be right though. He could decide to box. It all depends on what Barrera wants to do.

I think eventually, maybe down the stretch, he'll get caught and get hurt and he'll have to fight with JMM

Thats the thing...I think Barerra knows he is nearing the end of his career and needs this win badly if he wants any shot at rematching Manny Pac. I dont think he will take those risks but your probably right , His mexican pride will take over as soon as he gets buzzed and hopefully make it a fight not a technical boxing match.

Pay attention to what Barrera said at the end of the countdown: he said he was going to beat him for 12 rounds. It doesn't mean much when a fighter says he is going to knock someone out because they pretty much always say that but I think Barrera intends to bring out the boring gameplan he used on Juarez. Of course, JMM is a better pure boxer than Rocky. I won't buy the fight just because there is a good chance it will be boring although I acknowledge it could get exciting potentially. I am predicting Barrera by controversial decision

This could be a war with the fact that Barrera has a lot of pride and JMM needs to get that signature victory to make him one of the best featherweights of this era.

Jmm is underrated . Jmm is better than barrera(this will be proved on march17) and pacquiao(if there is a jmm - pac 2 jmm will expose pacquiao's lack of boxing talent)

Barrera is my favorite fighter....but, it sucks how horribly managed JMM was. The man could have been a Huge name and a superstar. I just kinda feel bad knowing how he never got to fight Hamed and it took this long to fight Barrera.

Im torn between my favorite fighter (whos already going down as a HOF, a Mexican Legend, an ATG) and JMM, who probably could have been if he didnt have ****ty management and *****s ducking him like Hamed (This would have been his huge breakthrough).

JMM has phenomenal skills and I hope he pulls out a win so we can see an awsome trilogy.
