Austin first attacked Wlad, questioning his chin, heart, and stamina. He said he was going to test all three.

He got knocked out with 1 on Wlad's hands. Similar to the Castillo fight Wlad didn't want to open up and drop the gaurd, the minute he threw the first right it sent Castillo fumbling into the corner unconscious, luckily the ref stepped in. Castillo survived more left hands than Austin did, although he was moving most of the time on a bicycle.

Austin should really re consider his trash talking if he ever makes an attempt at doing that again. After the fight Wlad just noted that he had sparring partners that were faster than Austin......and how he never meant to do any trash talking outside of the ring, and now Austin knows.

It's really as simple as that, run of the mill: A guy who had never been taken out early or at all.....was dispatched by Wlad.

We've seen that before in Mercer, Shufford, Brock, Barrett, Bostice, and Schulz where guys had never been even DOWN. Well I suppose Brock was floored by Mcline once, but he still can take a decent shot.

      Probably not.
But Briggs, Peter and Valuev would have all gotten him out of their early imo.

I think the Peter that fought Toney in the second fight beats Wlad hands down. Wlad better hope he doesn't have to face Sammy or it's lights-out for him.

oh please. wlad fought one of the worst fights in his career and still beat peter handily. if anything wlad has improved even more over his last few fights,,than peter who showed some improvement in just 1 fight with a shot toney who was right in front of him and had 0 power. wlad finishes peter where he left off in the 12th round of there first fight giving peter the judah dance again,,,,but finishing him this time with that left hook that he didnt throw enough the first time around. I dont think peter's people will even match him with wlad again. they'll go after the maskeavs and brigg's of the world instead

              How?

We didnt see a "new" Sam Peter in the second fight, it's just that Toney was so **** and open to shots that Sam actually looked good.

              Sam didnt change at all....

If your dreaming if you think that the Peter that we saw against Toney has any chance at Wlad.

Are you kidding? The only reason if any of the other fighter's couldn't KO Austin in two rounds, or less is because the heavyweight division is full of talentless bums. I'm pretty sure guys like James Toney, Samuel Peter, Chris Byrd would KO Austin, or give him a boxing lesson. This just shows the talent level in the heavyweight division, that fighter's don't even stand a chance against klitschko, which isn't fair. It's like seeing a prime Mike Tyson beat up a C class fighter. At least a guy like Oscar Maskiekev would put up a fight. Klitschko needs to fight fighters that at LEAST show above average skill and has a chance to beat him.

What is wrong with you guys, Austin was Klitschko mandatory end of story...

lol,,I totally agree. funny thing is,,,peter was in even better shape for wlad at a solid 243. toney finally showed his age in that last fight. he couldnt slip or move period. peter should have been able to knock him out if he was such a beast that some of these clowns make him out to be. wlad mops the floor with him if they fight again. peter will be doin the judah dance with his back on the mat this time. wlad is throwing that left hook more often now which will be doom for peter
