Floyd Mayweather vs. Sugar Ray Robinson?

For me this is a total no brainer. If you do your research the way you're supposed to - BoxRec - you'll see that Robinson lost 19 of his bouts. Floyd hasn't lost one yet, nor come close to losing, so that instantly puts him ahead.

Not only that, but Robinson lost to the likes of Jack LaMotta... Floyd's just UD'd Carlos Baldomir, something Robinson never did.

I've put some options down as to what the outcome would be. However, I've not included a KO victory for Robinson as it's pointless - he wouldn't have the power to hurt Floyd, so why bother? The only way I can see it happening outright is if Floyd slipped on the canvas and accidentally hit him low, causing a DQ. But that's not likely.

Just look at the stats, they speak for themselves. Easy UD or early KO victory for Floyd - it'd be like Floyd vs. Gatti all over again.

You must be a professional pollster. This is classic.

Floyd would quickly break his glass hands on Robinson's proven, iron jaw and Robinson's response would not be mirthful. Robinson destroys this wannabe.

I like Floyd, but Robinson had a great chin liked to mix it up had speed, power, and footwork. He fought over 200 fights. He lost to Lamotta then a week later he fought a tuneup fight then a couple a weeks later he fought Lamotta and beat him. Floyd barely fights three fights a year. Sugar Ray Robinson wins in 15 round decision. Sugar Ray Robinson is the fighter that many have tried to mold themselves after.
