Calzaghe is ****ing Welsh. He has therefore fought outside England numerous times and has fought outside the UK twice.

Noone outside the UK cares if he fights in Wales or somewhere else in the UK, just as we don't care if a german fights in Berlin or in Bavaria.
It's all good and fine the you have this little inter rivalry between the different parts of the UK. But it's the same everywhere and we don't give a feck.
It's all very practical i guess. If you're English and someone from Wales or whereever does something good he's a jolly good british chap and you wave the union jack. But when he fecks up you'll denounce him as a Welsh bastard and a sheep-shagger.

easy, he's another hand picked opponent by frank warren for calzaghe, yet another fighter for joe that isnt ready to be fighting joe, manfredo is just another young fighter that isnt ready for that level of competition.

and as for the whole manfredo's is popular, that's bull****, his main and damn near only fame is up in providence rhode island where he's from and he has minimal popularity throughout the states because of The Contender. and if you ask ANY casual fan in boxing " who is Peter Manfredo Jr? " the wouldn't be able to tell you. so that publicity stunt thingy for Joe Calzaghe is crap, it's just another underdog fighter that Joe is fighting.

i really hope that manfredo upsets calzaghe, i really really do..............
