Clever idea by Froch. I think that his only way of getting to Calzaghe is by making himself the mandatory contender for Joe's beloved title. Of course, its kind of a chicken or the egg question. As to become mandatory contender, Froch will have to take a step up in class and prove himself, which is something everyone always said he ought to do before having the gaul to challenge Calzaghe in the first place. Until he does, he doesnt really represent a worthwhile bout to Calzaghe.

Its 'Froch', the name is in the thread title.

Kessler has almost as much to prove as Froch in order to get a fight with Calzaghe. Realistically they should both be facing one another before looking to fight Joe.

Froch is a good fighter, but seriously, he should stop going on about fighting Calzaghe. He hasn`t beaten anyone worth mentioning and there are far bigger fights out there for Calzaghe than Froch.

If Froch beat someone like Hopkins or Taylor then he would have a point...

He needs to earn the right to fight Calzaghe, this isn`t the 1960's you can`t just harass someone into fighting you with words,

Froche has to beat up on some of Calzaghe's previous opponents and beat them quicker or more stylishly than Calzaghe did.

The Danes won't like that, but it's the truth. I'd pick Kessler but Froch would certainly have a decent shot.

                FIGHT SOMEONE FOR ****'S SAKE!!

He has no right, as of now, to be calling out Joe Calzaghe. He needs to win the European title first, or at least someone of proven world class. He is capable of giving any super middle in the world a rough time but he needs to actually do it before trying to say he's a credible threat to The Blow

You're right we won't like it. But it only shows exactly how biased some of YOU (the ones who'd write or agree with such BS) are. Just list the no of top 10 opponents the two of them have fought respectively (use independent rankings rather than your own missconceptions). Look at what the two have actually accomplished so far.

If you still come out thinking Froch has done about as much as Kessler at this stage, you can just as well forget about ever making a logical conclusion for the remainder of your life - it would just be beyond your abilities.
