He is currently a lightweight I guess but look at his fights. He started out a 112-115 range. He is just out of shape now.

I don't know if I believe wikipedia about that. Romero had a Oscar like image and was groomed to be a champ, he was squeaky clean. Tapia did box at the same gym but Romero was younger and a kid at the time.

Probably Audley Harrison, although he was the one who overrated himself!

After the Gold in the Olympics he turned out to be not much better than ordinary!

ali isn't overrated. he's just not the greatest of all time imo. but he's up there. as for pbf, fighters never get the respect they deserve until decades later. i guess just out of respect for the older fighters. an overrated fighter imo is julio caeser chavez. he beat a whole lot of bums. dlh is the best mexican ever from what i can think of. too bad a lot of controversial fights will never give him the respect he deserves.

Chavez beat alot of really good fighters and did it impressively for years. He cleaned out the best fighters available to him, but gets punished for his non title fights.

To overestimate the merits of; rate too highly.

Thats the definition. People who say Ali is overrated is not bashing him at all. He even says HIMSELF that SRR is the best boxer that ever lived. So in his own opinion if someone said he was better, Im sure he would agree that you were overrating him.

I agree with Chavez being overrated. I think DLH was better, and would have beaten him head to head at any stage in JCC's career.
