    Steward quote about Wlad.

.....Wow, look at the bolded in particular below.

Emanuel Steward (Wladimir Klitschko's trainer): "We have a great deal of respect for Ray Austin, more than Ray apparently has for Wlad judging by his comments at the first press conference. I have the same respect for Ray that we had for Chris Byrd."

After one minute of the first round everything will change for Ray Austin when he realizes who he is in the ring with. Wladimir is on a different level and at age 30, he's already entering his 51st fight. Ray Austin is running into the growth and progression of Wlad.

"Those watching the fight are going to be lucky enough to see the emergence of one of the greatest heavyweights ever, Wladimir Klitschko."

Steward is a good trainer and Klitschko has skill. Under the tutelage of Manny we're seeing some refinement and the classic ability of Steward to teach tall fighters to use their height effectively. He's going to hype his boy as much as he can, obviously, but I think he's right about Klitschko being a very good heavyweight. Now that he knows his own flaws, and has someone teaching him to circumvent them through his strengths, he's a very formidable opponent. Best of the current champions.

The guy is 6'7, ripped, has quick hands, and awesome power.

The only reason people dont like him is because hes white and from Europe. Hes come a long ways from his last two losses.

I fully agree, if anyone has an issue with this man it's for the wrong reasons.

He's a great individual and a fighter with superlative skills.

Offensively he is as skilled a fighter as we have in the division, hell offensively he stacks up there with most of the elite offensive fighters regardless of weight.

His chin however is extremely shacky and this is reason number 1 why some folks arent big Klit fans.

Keep in mind that he was EXTREMELY fortunate not too long ago to get out of the fight with Davaryl Williamson without another KO loss.

              Now-to be fair...

Wlad's 2006 could not have been better and he reminded all of us why people like the Heavies so much with crushing victories over Brock and Super Byrd.

He is the only fighter out there that any right minded fan could see in terms of a HW answer...I will be rooting for him but not surpised if at any point the Wlad express is derailed...regardless of the outcome he is a "must watch" fighter in a division that is on life support.

Go Wlad and BTW-stay away from that South African-I dont care how fat and how old he may be he will beat you...lucky for you Wlad your HOF trainer understands this which is why you wont hever have to worry about it.

.....The Davaryl statement is probably the dumbest thing I have ever seen the smartest guy on these boards say. Williams was on his bicycle and Wlad was right on the verge of taking total control even with the cut. The knockdown was a flash one and no big deal.

....Your second bolded statement has some merrit in that Wlad will always make me a little nervous. I do believe his chin is better than most think it is but I will always be on the edge of my seat during his fights, and that's part of what makes it fun to watch.

.....Thirdly, you may be right, but I want Wlad to take that challenge and prove you wrong. I would love to see him stomp the **** out of Sanders while torturing him for 8-9 rounds.

IMO, Devarryl fight was going the Brock route. Wlad had him and TOS was very lucky to sruvive the round where he knocked Wlad down

sanders style is too bad for wlad, with that iron chin and looping rock hard punches, hes gonna take some to give some and in wlads avarage chin(not glass), wlads gonna get hurt...

to bea sanders you have to be fast, good chin, powerful and aggressive...wlad is to pasive
