Fantasy match-up for discussion: Miranda vs. The Blow

I think this perfectly highlights the point Geronimo was making yesterday.

While Miranda's a very exciting and explosive fighter, and there's arguably no one in his division that could beat him*, there ARE boxers out there that could take him to school.

Thinking about it, if HBO wanted a sacrifice, Miranda would be the ultimate offering, a giftwrapped stylistic gimmee for The Blow, IMO. The Blow could outspeed, outbox and hurt Miranda... but what say YOU?






* I'm not saying I necessarily agree with this, Abraham, Taylor and even The Nuff Tumper are all capable of beating/and being beat by Miranda. The Abraham decision is, of course, highly controversial.

I cant imagine any result other than quite a simple Calzaghe victory. He is too fast, too skilled and too good a puncher.

I imagine there would be a stoppage too.. The Blow's power seems to be fading at the weight, but Lacy's chin gave the impression that it's less than it is.

That's a mishear due to the accent. He actually says "he can't punch ****"

I just think that miranda can beat him by points. but the blow is a great fighter.

The Blow takes this one by tko in the later rounds as he is just too fast and has too many punches in his arsenal for Miranda to handle.

I also think if Miranda lands anything of worth on Joe then Joe takes it.
