New KImbo fight.. He gets knocked down!!

I dont even hate Kimbo Slice, regardless of his ridiculous over-hype by the same types of morons who litter otherwise quite intelligent boxing debates. I do hate his sychophantic 'followers' who bellow insults at the over-whelmed and ridiculously overmatched people he fights. I thought it was a mockery to see them jumping in his fight against Gannon.

Nevermind those saying that he wouldnt last 2 minutes against a UFC or MMA fighter (he isnt trained for that), put Kimbo Slice into some real street-fighting, the type of bare-knuckle fighting that Lenny McClean used to do and he would get utterly destroyed. If he wants to fight just fists, he should be boxing. If he wants a street fight, it needs to be anything goes.

he's a regular guy til his fights r regulated.I mean who doesn't get into street fights.when has he called out ne pros. u guys r the ones that blew him up,he just provided the video.u guys talk **** about him cause he's beating up guys,he doesn't even have a fighting background.ahaha.and talkin bout tyson is just crying,he's 10 times better then most ppl,although I don't give a ****.

Kimbo isnt a 'regular guy', he is a huge bastard with obvious punching skills who dominates guys less skillful and smaller than him with ruthlessness and a ridiculous entourage dubbing him 'the champ'.

If he were to take part in a proper street-fight (ie no rules) or a proper bare-knuckle fight (ie no punching from behind, no punching on the floor), or if he fought some more credible opponents (namely ones that actually look like they've been in a fight before) he may deserve some of the hype and 'respect' he gets.

The first thing he needs to go is get rid of the entourage. The Gannon fight was ridiculous. Kimbo grabs for his legs for a takedown (not allowed according to the rules), nothing happens. Gannon responds by choking Kimbo (not allowed according to the rules) and immediately 10 guys rush at Gannon telling him to release the chokehold. Kimbo then pushed Gannon into walls and onto the floor where he mounts and strikes him (not allowed according to the rules), nothing happens and Gannon eventually gets back up seemingly unhurt. Gannon then get Kimbo into a position to wear him down with knee-strikes (against the rules) and Kimbo takes a couple of knees before everyone again rushes at Gannon getting him to let Kimbo go. It was a joke.
