Jermain Taylor vs. Edison Miranda?

It didn't seem like it too me. He got up quickly everyone knew he wasn't hurt. Even Allen Green knew that, he didn't go in to finish him cause he wasn't hurt just caught off balance.

He was def hurt, Green had over 2 minutes to finish him, if that was Taylor Miranda would've been stopped, no doubt about it!

the overhand shot that put him down the first time almost killed him (recall the bell saved him after he rose), the corner shouldnt have let him come back out after that..

the second one was sick, zertuches legs dropped out like it was cedar point, if i was going to have a gif in my signature that would be it for this year

That is why I think we should be talking about that fight instead of Miranda vs JT. Miranda ain't there yet.

Pavlik vs Miranda will be a great fight.

I believe Pavlik is the better technical boxer but Zertuches was able to tag him with big shots. Don't get me wrong Pavlik is a hard hitter with both hands. But if Zertuche was able to get to Pavlik so will Miranda and with Pavliks stand up style I don't think he'll be able to aviod as many right hands as Green did.

If Miranda get his right hand in more than a few times KO win. Other wise I think Pavlik will win with a 10rnd UD. Pavlik will probably hurt Miranda a few times and back him up. Could make for a great fight cause Miranda is like a bigger Morales when he gets hit he wants to hit you back harder and he has the killer instinct.

And I've never seen Pavlik hurt from a punch so this fight is really up in the air.

im sitting here thinking about it and for pure entertainment value i cannot think of a single matchup i would rather see.... you were saying about how zertuche tagged pavlik a couple times, but it seemed to me that it was simply pavlik knowing he could beat him going punch for punch.... pavlik will surely be more careful with miranda and use the jab quite a bit more....

can def see the knockout going either way, its fair to say that neither guy has ever fought somebody who could hurt them so bad for making a single mistake... i see this fight playing out slow in the beginning but eventually boiling down to some vicious exchanges as it seems both guys have too much pride to fight a "smart" gameplan all the way through 12 rounds.

So what Green is a bigger puncher than Taylor.......and he was not on ***** street he got KD and got right back up and continued to take it to Green as he would Taylor except Taylor would not have survived as long as Green did unless he skated too.

miranda would shred taylor into little pieces. you need speed and skill to get the better of miranda, taylor has neither. taylor has athleticism (spelling?) and strength, nothing more. and thats not enough to defeat a savage puncher like miranda.

i'd love to see this fight. it would be great to see the HBO product (taylor) get obliterated.
