I just watched the replay of Cotto/Urkal and....

I think people forget that Cotto had a cut over his eye lid too. So the blood was dripping right into his eye. He even said that was the reason he didnt give a better performance.

Well, he never said that it was a reason for him not giving a better performance, he said that it saved Urkal from being KOed. He payed way too much attention to that cut. Im glad he got cut, now he has been exposed to that situation and he can learn from that.

He did a good job breaking Urkal down with those body shots. Urkal was attempting everything he could at the end, and was in a way looking for a way out once he picked up the pace. Urkal's corner did a good job stopping the fight.....it was getting ugly and neither fighter should have been put in way of any more type of harm. Urkal is as durable a mandatory challenger type Cotto could face before his bigger fights.....and he put some solid work in.

And I don't know why you'd say Zab wasn't interested......he was smiling all over the place at the potential fight between he and Cotto. It's not every day and shouldn't be.....a guy who loses his last two fights gets a shot at the title and a huge payday in the process.

Perhaps if they're crowd pleasing.....but I'm more than sure people don't want to watch Judah taunt Cotto and then look into the crowd before getting KTFO.
