The more I watch Darchinyan the more I think he can take Arce.

Vic is fun to watch but I mean come on now, the guy is limited. I bet even Alexander Munoz would beat Vic.

It would be an amazing fight but I see Jorge Arce knocking out Vic Darchinyan in the 10th.

come on man, some people were sayin the same about this poor Burgos guy.

Give credit where credit is due. VIC fights solely on his power and his balls and his iron chin, he knows he is gonna win b4 he sets foot in that ring.

At this point, NOBODY, not even Arce, can stop VIC.

Darchinyan always has the potential to be outboxed. His power always makes him dangerous though.

based on last fight, arce can sleep between two golden pillows.

everytime vic hit burgos, he hurt him. vic was head hunting and doing it one punch at a time. If he fought more disciplined Burgos would have been out there by round 6 or so.

It is a question mark if he can actually fight more disciplined.

            btw Burgos beat Arce

I dont see any way he will be stopped in fly or super fly. I havent seen him even slightly bothered by a punch.

Yeah though in respect the commentators had it correct. It'll be fun to watch a Vic fight that involves a fighter that'll make Vic pay for all those mistakes he makes. He hasn't fought anyone in the past few fights that I've seen him fight that challenged him. It's lik you knew the outcome before the match began. Vic needs to fight somebody with recognition if he wants the true recognition he seeks. He claims nobody wants to fight him, we'll don't get like Margarito. You gotta go out of your way to make the fights happen.

how exactly do you go out of your way???

he has openly both in press and TV called out all the big names and champs and hasnt gotten a response.

Unlike Margarito, when one of these big names gives him a good offer, VIC wont change his word and not fight.

its the promoter Gary Shaw that has to do more for VIC, VIC has done enough both in and out of the ring to deserve a shot at any big name or top guy.

and to be honest with you, VIC DARCHINYAN is THE top guy right now in the lower weights, so others should be lookin to fight him if they want a big fight.

6 successful title defenses, all by KNOCK-OUT,
                  now (28-0, with 22KOs)

                  YA, THATS A TOP GUY.

The main problem with the Arce-Darchinyan fight is that Shaw is looking for purse parity and Top Rank, which promotes Arce who is really the draw, is not willing to accept that at this time. Hopefully that will change soon because I think most of us really want to see this fight so all this non-sense about who would win and why could be put to sleep... Oh and on the "Top guy" issue... he is the top guy.... at 112-pounds...

Vic is intertaining but what the hell is he going to do when someone can take his punch and has some power? his style has no defense he's way to ****y that i dont even think he has a plan B if needed. Well he was talking a big game that he wanted the winner Of Vazquez vs Marquez, Marquez would brake Vicks big ass nose.
