Cotto with a pathetic win..and a boring ass fight.

He wouldn't have looked good to you haters even if he had KO Urkal in the 1st round. That was a beautiful display of body punching, Urkal has a great chin and conditioning to stay up from those body punches.

Yeah he had some good body punches, To bad he didn't have good competition to go with those..Anyway--nobodys hatin, The **** was just boring but here.

if ward-gatti or Corales-Castillo are the only exciting fights then your not really a boxing fan. That was an entertaining fight. It wasn't a FOTY candidate but both were highly skilled guys throwing a lot of power shots. If you couldn't stay awake during that fight then you don't like boxing.

I knew I would come on here and see threads like this. I thought it was a good fight, far from boring. Urkal was blatantly throwing butts all fight. At the end you can easily see bumps and bruises on Cotto's forehead. It was a difficult fight for Cotto at times, like I thought it would. Honestly Cotto isnt going to blow guys out every time. He didnt look his best, but Urkal was game, dont take anything away from him.

i enjoyed the fight...and i didn't think the headbutts were that bad. urkal made a fight of it...how can you blame him for making the fight boring? did he make it boring by refusing to get knocked out?

i blame the open scoring in part. cotto knew he was well ahead after 4 rounds and just did enough to win the fight. he wasn't particularly motivated afterwards, and i don't think this fight in any way reflects whats going to happen against zab

As a Hatton fan it's eye opening to come on here and see the same comments made about Miguel as are made about Rick after every single one of his fights. Including a reference to Ruiz!

And his had more shots at the title then any other fighter
